Things I Noticed About Adelaide...
* There are some very strange people, especially in the pub/hotel we went to (for a ROAST LUNCH, nothing else!) :o)* It's freezing cold, especially when my fiance and I visit. (Note that it was a lovely, warm 30 degrees mere days before we went! That happened last time, too)
* They call the shirts that football players wear 'guernseys' instead of the normal 'jerseys'.
* Most of the houses have a strange red-brick / sandstone combination... which I do not particularly like. (Ewww, gross!!!)
* Instead of their street lights being white, they are orange, which makes it really confusing (for me, anyway), and makes you (me) think that you're (I'm) always coming up to a set of traffic lights.
I think that's all. God bless Adelaide. It's a great place. It has lovely paddle boats, and a cable hang-gliding place, and a zoo... Oh, the possibilities! And it produces some mighty fine people (i.e. my fiance)!!!
I'm done. I'm sure there was more I wanted to say, but it's slipped my mind. I'll probably think of it later today. :o)
